The client

LeapStudio is a German Amazon FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) independent company founded in 2017. The company aims to import and sell a wide range of products in the German Amazon marketplace, the second biggest Amazon market in the world after U.S. with over 44 million customers in Germany in 2016, of which 17 million have a prime account and more than 64,000 registered sellers that year, making Amazon’s reach unparalleled. 

The Problem

More and more people are starting product searches directly on Amazon instead of using search engines as Google. In 2016 34% of product searches started directly on Amazon. As the number of users and the range of products are increasing, this proportion will certainly continue to rise. In such a crowded and competitive marketplace where buyers have virtually infinite options when choosing a product it becomes clear that quality, look and feel, distinctiveness and wow factor are important elements to attract new buyers and increase the rate of positive review on the platform.

The Solution

The partnership with LeapStudio resulted in the ideation and creation of the private label of its most sold product in the art supply niche. From naming to packaging to the design of its e-commerce store, Desyned built a consistent and exciting new product experience.

Designing a simple unpacking experience and clear instructions on how to use the product are important aspects to ensure customers are left with no question but just smile on their faces. This design process directly translates in a consistent reduction of customer support tickets and overall increase of customer satisfaction.
